who we are
We’re Jessica and Ben Hogan. We’ve contributed to tens of millions in raises, and between us have over fifty years of commercial storytelling experience.
Jessica brings executive management and fundraising experience from inside pre-commercial cleantech and deep tech startups, backed by a couple decades of business and brand consulting—all to mean she can cut through the noise to powerfully communicate your strongest business thesis and plans for domination. Her fundraising experience includes dozens of VC, project finance, and private equity pitches and associated due diligence. She hails from a Texas Panhandle oil and gas town where her grandfather managed the Phillips Petroleum refinery and her father retired as an environmental engineer. Her roots have ignited a passion for the energy and climate sectors.
Ben’s academic path took him first into biomed, then into design. His fascination with visual storytelling in life sciences led him full circle. After a decade as an advertising creative — conceiving and designing deliverables across B2C and B2B in just about every sector you can think of — he spent the next decade in medical technology, covering everything from brand identity to marketing materials and sales tools to executive messaging (yes, many, many ppts). He recently finished writing a novel as well.
